Bruno is a young Alamosaurus on his first journey without his parents. When the dry season approaches, he sets out for the distant Great Lake, but the journey is not as easy as he expected.
After getting trapped in deep mud, Bruno meets Tito, a lively young Triceratops who stops to help him. Together they cross rocky trails, search for food and water, pass through volcanic ash, discover a mysterious blue pond, and slowly become close friends.
