About Smiling Sun
Smiling Sun's stories began at bedtime. His children enjoyed them so much that he decided to share them with other families, too.
Inspired by his children and the questions, laughter and adventures they bring into everyday life, he writes gentle, read-aloud stories for children ages 5–8. Drawing on what he has learned through family, work and real-world experience, he weaves simple values into his stories: friendship, kindness, courage, curiosity, honesty and making thoughtful choices.
